December 2023
We’ve updated our web portal and app with new features, key changes, and improvements for a better experience.
Check out the key updates:
A new SMS notification has been introduced for near-expiries.
A new Warehouse Management module has been implemented to help reduce stock replenishment turnover.
The “Low” audit can now be customized in the SKU Audit module.
The Survey module has been improved with a range of new features.
And, much more below.
Implemented an SMS Notification for Near-Expiry Alerts
To address delays in salesmen promptly checking their email alerts for near-expiry items, we have introduced a new SMS notification feature. SMS alerts are more likely to be seen and acted upon than email alerts, ensuring that all salesmen are aware of near expiries and can take the necessary actions.
Added a New Warehouse Management Module
To effectively track top SKUs across warehouses and overcome challenges related to manual monitoring and data consolidation, we have implemented the Warehouse Management module. Its purpose is to streamline stock management across multiple warehouses efficiently.
The system limits SKUs in each warehouse, introduces a dedicated page for the salesmen to update product quantities efficiently, and enables the recording of inbound and outbound transactions.
Redefined and Customized the “Low” Audit in the SKU Audit Module
In the SKU Audit module, when an SKU is marked as “Low”, Shelvz currently interprets it as unavailable. This affects the client’s out-of-stock percentage, leading them to request their field reps to audit these items as “Yes” rather than “Low”.
To solve this, we have implemented a customization feature, allowing each client to assess the “Low” option based on their specific requirements, whether to consider it as available or not.
Enhanced the Survey Module
Applied conditional logic within the same view on the app, eliminating the need for multiple views.
Enabled dual language support.
Added sorting functionality for both single and multi-selection answer types.
Displayed answer type labels on the app and visit details.
Added an option to Add/Update answers for both single and multi-selection questions in bulk.
Added a CSV Option to Email Alerts
There was only an Excel option.
Added a CSV Option to Send Email in all Reports
The option to send CSV by email was not available in all reports.
Implemented an Automatic CSV Format Delivery for all Reports Exceeding the Limit
Reports exceeding the limit will now be received as zip files, each containing a million entries.
